Javascript has become the most important language for web-centric applications. It was always the native language of the browser, used for all DOM manipulations, behaviors and animations, but as single-page-applications are becoming the standard for user experience, and Node.js has proven to be scalable, and Mobile Apps are being developed in it - Javascript is becoming a true end to end choice for many companies.

Functional programming is great and provides a lot of benefits. However, it seems impossible to use in a complicated GUI and Events system. The FRP frameworks solve that. In this session we'll cover the concepts behind FRP and see some code examples of usage

In this session we'll deal with The JavaScript Problem (regarding syntax, safety and abstractions). We'll look into alternative syntax starting from CoffeScript going through TypeScript and finishing with PureScript and ghcjs
